Will this work for our family?
An art deco cinema that opened on 2 September 1939, closed the same day as war broke out, and has been run as a charity by volunteers since reopening in 1997. It has three screens, regular family club screenings and low prices, and won BAFTA's For the Love of Film award in 2020.
At £4.90 a child and £5.90 an adult, with under 3s free, it is one of the cheapest full price cinemas around. Pair it with Crosby beach and the Another Place iron men, a short drive or bus ride away; Waterloo station is a short walk.
