Listing terms

Plain English. These apply when a venue or organiser pays for a listing.

What you are buying

A Standard, Featured or Top listing for 30 days from the day it goes live, at the price shown on the form when you pay. Featured listings carry a Featured badge and appear in the featured rail; Top listings also sit first in results and get a mention in the Friday email. Prices are charged once; nothing renews automatically.

Every listing is checked first

Paying does not publish anything. A real person reads your listing, checks it against your website and may tidy the wording to match the rest of the site. We aim to do this within two working days. The 30 days start when the listing goes live, not when you pay.

What we may decline

We list things families can actually go to in and around Merseyside. We decline listings that are not family suitable, are misleading, are outside the area, or that we cannot verify. If we decline your listing you get a full refund within five working days and we tell you why.

Refunds

Full refund if we decline the listing or fail to publish it within five working days of payment. Once a listing is live we do not refund the remaining days, because the work is done at the start. If something on our side breaks and your listing is missing for more than two days of its run, we extend it by the days lost.

Your details and photo

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit. By uploading a photo you confirm you own it or have permission to use it, that anyone in it has agreed to appear on a public website, and you give us permission to show it, credited to you, for as long as the venue is on the site. We may replace a poor quality photo with one of our own and will tell you if we do.

Changes and taking a listing down

Email hello@famdays.co.uk with corrections at any time and we will update the listing. You can ask us to take a listing down at any time; there is no refund for the remaining days unless the reason is our error.

Payment

Payment is taken by card through Stripe. We never see your card number. Your receipt comes from Stripe by email.

The boring but necessary bit

FamDays is an independent guide; a listing is not an endorsement by any council or venue. We may change these terms for future listings but not for one you have already bought. English law applies.
