Will this work for our family?

A big indoor food market on Blackstock Street in Vauxhall, home to the Hot Water Comedy Club. Its free Family Fundays run every Sunday from 10am to 1pm, with a changing mix of entertainers, face painting, hair braiding, balloon modelling, mascots, magicians, soft play, live music and creepy crawly shows, followed by a free family comedy show from 1pm to 2pm for children aged six and up. In the run up to Christmas the Sunday Fundays become Christmas Fundays from noon, followed by an improvised family panto at 1.30pm from £10. At weekends in the festive season it also runs Dear Santa, a Santa's grotto from noon at £10 a child, with a golden coin and a selection box.

Parent tip

Make a Sunday of it: the free Funday from 10am, lunch from the food stalls, then the free family comedy show at 1pm, or the £10 improvised panto at 1.30pm in November and December. Book the free tickets online, as spaces are limited.
