Court Hey Park

Huyton

Open access parkAll ages

Court Hey Park is a Green Flag park in Huyton with a children's playground, sunken gardens, a picnic area, a cricket pitch, a bowling green, a community orchard and wildflower and wetland habitats. The former National Wildflower Centre's Millennium Building has been closed to the public since 2017 and Knowsley Council began demolishing and re-landscaping it in November 2025, with the work expected to take around 30 weeks. The courtyard buildings now house community organisations including One Knowsley and Incredible Edible Knowsley, and a cafe with a public toilet has opened on site.

Parent tip. Parking on site is free, and the council says the Buttermere Road and Keswick Way entrances are shut in the evenings, so use the Roby Road entrance later in the day.
