Ainsdale Beach

Ainsdale

Price not listedAll ages

Ainsdale is a wide sandy beach on the Sefton coast south of Southport, backed by dunes, where cars can drive onto the sand to park in the summer season. RNLI lifeguards cover a flagged swimming area from late March to mid September and there is a toilet block with a Changing Places facility near the beach entrance.

Parent tip. Dogs are banned from the main beach entrance area between 1 May and 30 September, and the beach car park can close at short notice on high tides, so check tide times before driving onto the sand.
